Head of CWPF and Beijing Red Cross Society together with foreign ambassadors in China make their wishes facing the Five Continents

On Dec 12th, Beijing Information Office, Beijing Red Cross Society and China World Peace Foundation jointly held the issuing ceremony of “Family First Aid Manual-Chinese and English version” in Peace Garden at the themed of “world city and harmonious life”. The attending honored guests and units were : Beijing Red Cross managing deputy president Han Lu, China World Peace Foundation Chairman Li Ruohong, Red Cross Society of China communication minister Wang Xiaohua, International Committee of Red Cross East Asia office representative David. Makaay, Red Cross and Red new moon international association East Asia representative Hua Meiling, Beijing social working committee office deputy director Liu Xuan, Beijing governmental foreign office deputy director Li Honghai, Beijing publicizing leading group office deputy director zhang Jinlin, Beijing NGO international communication association secretary general Xu Qiang, Azerbaijan ambassador in China Yashar Aliyev, Jordan ambassador in China Anmar A.H.N. In The ceremony, Mr. Li Ruohong and Ms. Han Lu respectively made a address representing the host units, and were together with the municipal government leaders to grant the “Family First Aid Manual-Chinese and English version” to some of the foreigners. It was reported that Beijing government issued “Family First Aid Manual” to more than 6 million families for free in Beijing City. “Family First Aid Manual-Chinese and English version”was printed 30,000 firstly and provided to some foreigners in Beijing. To help the foreigners mastering the knowledge and technique in the book, Beijing Red Cross emergency rescue teaching center and King’s Garden hospital will establish training classes for foreigners in Beijing, and Beijing Red Cross will also hold foreigner families match of family first aid knowledge and technique.
There was also emergency treatment and pack up demonstration in the activity, and artists performed Kunqu opera “You Yuan” and “pear flower song”.
To express the expectation for the world harmony, five representatives from the five continents came to the fingerprint and put their palms to their own continent giving the best wishes to the hometown and world. Beijing Red Cross managing deputy president Han Lu, China World Peace Foundation Chairman Li Ruohong and former Cameroon ambassador in China Eyrir Etienne respectively wrote down the day’s theme-world city and harmonious life on the big oval world picture fingerprint.
All the people showed the idea “ our common world, common homeland, common expectation and common responsibility. Friends the life, city and world are colorful just because we exist.” In the end, all the people sang together “friendship forever and ever” to express the wished to the foreign friends who live and work in China.
