On October 21st , Li Ruohong, Chairman of the China World Peace Foundation and President of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, attended Cuba's National Culture Day Event held at the Cuban Ambassador's residence, and discussed cultural interaction between the two countries with H.E. Mr. Alberto J. Blanco Silva, Cuban Ambassador to China.

During the event, the Cuban ambassador further elaborated that although the cultures of China and Cuba are different, both share a common national identity, and their smooth communication and exchange have continued to this day.

At the event, Chinese artists performed Cuban style dances and Cuban musicians performed Chinese ethnic songs.
