On the afternoon of January 27th , Dr. Li Ruohong, President of the China World Peace Foundation, was invited to have visited the residence of the Belgian Ambassador to China to meet with H.E. Ambassador HOOGMARTENS Jan, and Mr. VAN HOVE Johan, public diplomatic counsellor of the Belgian Embassy. The two sides held frank, friendly and constructive talks on the themes of cultural exchanges, international consumption cities, museum cities, promoting non-governmental economic&social cooperation and public welfare undertakings between EU countries and China, and agreed to further communicate on some possible projects after the Spring Festival of the Chinese Lunar Tiger Year. Both sides confirmed that EU-China relations play an important role in the history and reality of the international community.
