On the morning of June 25, 2019, Meng Songlin, Member of the Standing Committee and Minister of Propaganda Department of Hulun Buir visited Peace Garden Museum. He held friendly talks with professor Li Ruohong of the China World Peace Foundation. During the talks, Minister Meng stressed the importance of Mongolian culture and the vision of bringing Mongolian culture to the world. Over the years, he has always insisted on learning and studying Mongolian language and Mongolian history and culture, and has published many publications in Mongolian and Chinese languages and new Mongolian languages, contributing to the prosperity and development of Mongolian culture. In fact, The Secret History of Mongols was a special study of his work interpreting the story of Genghis Khan. During the talk with Meng, professor li proposed to integrate Mongolian culture with the world, developing the features of “The Belt and Road” and cooperating with central Asia and northeast Asia. In addition, professor li hoped that Mongolian culture would become an international educational achievement and be widely supported and recognized by the international community.
