On September 21st, the 5th Peace Garden Peace Festival - the "Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads" International Photo Contest Awards Ceremony was held in Beijing. "We should conduct more civilization dialogues between countries and regions to promote the harmonious and sustainable development of society, economy and culture." Dr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, said in his  speech.

On September 21st, the 5th Peace Garden Festival held in Beijing. Dr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, delivered a speech.Dr. Li Ruohong mentioned that the Peace Garden Peace Festival has been held for four times.  UNESCO and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation also organized activities and projects, such as “Chinese Martial Arts Entering Africa” and “An Interactive  Atlas of Cultural Interactions Along the Silk Roads”. He said that in the progress of civilization, factors such as imbalances in values have caused many uncertainties in the international community and have greatly troubled people's lives. We should conduct more civilization dialogues among countries and regions, promote the harmonious and sustainable development of society, economy and culture, and pay attention to youth's healthy growth, because young people are the future of every countries.

It was reported that the Peace Garden Festival was co-organized by UNESCO, China World Peace Foundation, Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, and jointly supported by Beijing NGO Association for International Exchanges, Beijing Youth Federation, Beijing Returned Overseas Chinese Federation and Belt.china.org.cn.
