From July 27th to 31st, a five-day targeted poverty alleviation research and investigation action initiated by GanSu Chamber of Commerce in Beijing(GSCC), joined by Beijing Fujian Enterprises General Chamber of Commerce(BFEGCC), Chongqing Chamber of Commerce in Beijing(CCCB), and Post EMBA Entrepreneurs of Peking University was carried out in Dongxiang County, Linxia City, Gansu province and Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture to help Gansu get rid of poverty.

When meeting with the delegation, Lin Duo, Secretary of CPC Gansu Provincial Committee and Director of Gansu Provincial People's Congress, said that as an underdeveloped province in the west China, Gansu has fragile ecological environment, harsh natural conditions with natural disasters happening frequently, which makes the task of getting rid of poverty very arduous. At present, Gansu is sparing no efforts to get rid of poverty, hoping that all chambers of commerce and entrepreneurs actively participate in the development of characteristic agriculture and cultural tourism, industrial transformation and upgrading, and poverty alleviation. By doing so, it will not only realize the development of enterprises themselves, but contribute to local construction. 

Wang Jinsheng, President of GanSu Chamber of Commerce in Beijing(GSCC), Li Ruohong, Chairman of Supervisory Board, and Luo Gang, Executive President and Secretary of Party Branch delivered reports and conducted exchanges. They said that they themselves, as entrepreneurs of non-public enterprises and business associations that grew up in Gansu, must bear the responsibilities, and play their due role in the process of building a happy and beautiful new Gansu rather than to be onlookers.

In the afternoon of July 28th, Beijing Fujian Enterprise Chamber of Commerce (BFECC) signed an agreement with Dongxiang County to donate a school for Tianqiao Township. GanSu Chamber of Commerce in Beijing (GSCC) donated 1,000 TV sets to Longquan Town, Dongxiang County while Chongqing Chamber of Commerce in Beijing (CCCB) also donated 200 TV sets.
