On January 19th, Dr. LI Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation visited the south of province Jiangxi with Mr. WANG Donghai, Chief Editor of China Web, donating more than 10.000 footballs to 300.000 schoolchildren of eight national-level poverty countries in old revolutionary areas.

The South of Jiangxi constitutes an old revolutionary area, leaving a brilliant trace in the history of Republic construction. “Don’t forget our original mind and fight together for the revitalization” represented the theme of this donation, whose positive signification lied in the revitalization of old areas and the promotion of people diplomacy through football.  

The students who accepted the donation came from eight poverty countries: Shangyou, Ganxian, Xingguo, Yudu, Huichang, Anyuan and Xunwu, and performed cheerily several physical plays such as juggling the ball. They expressed their will to pass on this love and also their gratitude towards the concerns and support of all sectors of society. 

This activity was realized by the collaboration of Dr. Li, President of China World Peace Foundation & Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, with “One World One Football” International Association, SongQingling Foundation, Ganzhou City Government and Overseas Chinese Commercial Association. 

LI Yuqiang, Deputy Director of Overseas Chinese Affair Office, ZHAG Xiaoning, leader of city, LIAO Chengming and other leaders of all sectors attended the donation ceremony. 

After the ceremony, President Li and his party visited the programs under development and construction in Ganzhou, planed and discussed in depth with leaders of Municipal Party Committee, City Government and Overseas Chinese Commercial Association the revitalization of old areas and public welfare program “The Belt and Road”.
