The seventeenth "Peace Cup" international golf tournament was held successfully
On October 14, 2016, the seventeenth "Peace Cup" international golf tournament and charitable donations were successfully held in Beijing CBD International Golf Club . The Event and activities were organized by Beijing Association of foreign investment enterprises, Chinese World Peace Foundation, Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Beijing Association For Trade in Service, Economic&Commercial Counselor’s Alliance in China, undertaken by Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation and Peace Garden Museum . The theme of this Event is: To carry forward the Olympic spirit and develop "One Belt One Road"initiative.More than one hundred guests attended the event, including foreign envoys from thirty countries, presidents from multinational enterprises , representatives of international organizations and celebrities from home and abroad
In August this year, Golf game was officially listed in the Olympic Games, which marks the official return of it to Sport , it thus becomes a healthy, green and popular sport. The previous "Peace Cup" international golf tournaments took "peaceful +1" as the theme, to build social, economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation platform for the governments and civil societies through "peace and sports", "diplomatic charity" and "social responsibility" , improving the environment for foreign investment,supporting developing countries and vulnerable groups with love.
Players from all walks of life actively donate love to autism children
The domestic and foreign public charity is the responsibility and consensus of each session of "Peace Cup” Golf Tournament Organizing committee. For example:To aid earthquake affected areas of Wenchuan and Yushu; to aid leukemia patients and Tibet children with congenital heart disease ; to help migrant children to school,to aid Nepal schools for the blind and deaf ; to aid Maldives youth drug treatment, to help assistant teachers in impoverished areas,etc.. The 2016 Golf Tournament continues to support vulnerable groups by following the former practice in setting donation box and charity hole . This year, the organizing committee focus their charity love on autism children and their families,donating the love money from the participating players and the charity auction to Beijing Stars Rain Education Institute.
Pakistani Ambassador to China and representative from multinational enterprises win the "Peace Champion" trophy
During the Gala dinner party, on behalf of all the organizing units of this Event,Mr.Xinggongjie, President of the Beijing Association of Foreign Investment, Mr. Li Ruohong,Chairman of China World Peace Foundation , respectively delivered speeches to thank the 17 years’ strong support from all sectors of society . Pakistani Ambassador in China and Pakistani Art master, as well as representatives of multinational companies ,also spoke enthusiastic to express their love for peace and China ,they all spoke highly of the Event.The "Peace Cup"Event was full of warm and friendly atmosphere, passing out the positive energy.
Uganda artists dedicated performance
The Afrolite-Ngeye International Cultural Troupe had a wonderful performance on the spot,these artists from Uganda depicts the multicultural charm and wonder along the "One Belt One Road”countries with their superb acting skills and enthusiastic passion. Autism children' performances from Star Rain Institute also touched the heart of each person on the spot, winning warm applause. The Event was an assemble of Stars, diplomatic stars,business stars, show stars and health care stars all expressed their best wishes for the international brand of"Peace Cup" sport,wish it will be better and better under the joint efforts of everyone. We all cherish this platform and look forward to meeting each other again next year.
