As incarnation of “peace +1”, and strategic partner of UNESCO, China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, attend the 70th anniversary of UNESCO at its Paris headquarter on April 28th. The ceremony highlights the core values and concepts forged by UNESCO since 1945.Secretary General Mr.Ban Ki-moon shared his childhood experience and paid tribute to the Organization as a “powerful force for peace”, a “champion of freedom of expression” Irina Bokova in her welcoming speech said that Peace is difficult to realize and that we are “still in need of the courage that led to UNESCO’s creation 70 years ago”. 

Mr. Li ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation salutes respectively the Secretary –General of UN and the Director-General of UNESCO, her deputy and section directors of Social and Human Sciences, of strategic planning and of extra budgetary. Mr. Li also discussed with ambassador of China to UNESCO on One Belt One Road, on youth, sports and peace. They exchanged views on social inclusiveness, and setting up model community on that matter. All want to build a Multi-level and wide-ranging cooperation with the Foundation. Mr. LI also discussed with the organizing committee of Nanjing Youth Festival, and director of European Branch of Phoenix TV about recent subjects.
