The 26th Crans-montana forum under the high patronage of his majesty King Mohamed VI of Morocco was held in Dakhla(Morocco) from march 12th to 14th mars 2015. Heads of state and government, international organizations, business leaders and experts from Asia, Africa, Europ and Americas got together to discuss the perspective of south-south cooperation and African development.

Mr. Jean Paul Carteron, President of the forum gave an opening address. Macedonian president Ivanov, PM of Morocco Mr. Abdel-Ilah Benkiram, under SG of UN, Mr. Philippe D. Blazy, DG of ISESCO, Mr. Ablulaziz O. altwaijri, deputy DG of WTO Mr. Yonov Frederick AGAH, Deputy DG of WHO Mme Sylvie Briand, chief analyst of African Development Bank Mrs. Caroline Jehu-Appiah and Mr. Abbas al Naqi DG of OAPEC. Many current and former heads of state and government spoke at this session. In order to promote the opening and development of Africa and its exchanges with the Maghreb region as well as the globe, the following topics are addressed: gestion and development of natural resources, information revolution, port&maritime transport, women issues, public health, fishery, agro-industry, tourism etc.

The Chinese delegation led by president of China World Peace Foundation, Dr. Li ruohong, hold talks and exchanged views with the Macedonian president, the UN Under SG, the American civil rights activist and even with other delegates from countries which China hasn’t established diplomatic relations with them. Dr. Li received an interview by Moroccan television, during which he introduced his cooperation with Morocco, how he was impressed by the prosperity, inclusiveness and stability of this country, and shared his perspective on the development of China-Morocco Ibn-Battuta Friendship Association that he cofounded with H.E. Ambassador Jaafar Hlj Hakim. As the only invitee from China to this forum, Dr. Li and the Chinese delegation believed that Chinese participation and opinion-expressing in international events help spread the ideal of peace and strengthen global solidarity. He also wished that developing countries become partners on the path of “peace +1” and share common interests through interconnection.
