On Dec 10th, 2012, Beijing Promotion Conference on Gannan Soviet Area Investment Environment and Gannan Navel Orange Marketing jointly held by Jiangxi Provincial Government, Ganzhou Municipal Government and China World Peace Foundation was grandly held in Great Hall of People. Deputy Director Mr. Teng Jiacai of the State Administration of Industry and Commerce, Deputy Mayor Mr. Hu Juwen of Ganzhou Municipal Government and Chairman Li Ruohong of China World Peace Foundation attended this meeting and delivered speeches.
Chairman Li Ruohong said, “Rare earths and navel oranges are indispensable to people’s life. And the most important international producing areas of these two lines of products are located in Ganzhou city, Jiangxi province. This kingdom of resources has a long history and traditional culture. This year, a series of favorable policies supported by the central government have injected new vitality to this city. It is my sincere wish that this conference would help all of you to know more about the investment environment of Ganzhou and investment opportunities provided to entrepreneurs from different countries, aiming at promoting the establishment of friendly cities as well as the cooperation of sister industries between China and foreign countries. China World Peace Foundation is an international organization standing at the frontline of Chinese reform and opening up. We have set up a platform of civil exchange and cooperation for governments of different countries through public diplomacy, civil diplomacy and cultural diplomacy. I’d like to know more about Ganzhou, to love Ganzhou and to develop Ganzhou together with Chinese and foreign friends present here.”
　　Diplomats from 30 countries were also present at this meeting. This event came to a successful end with theatrical performances with Gannan characteristics.
